Grief Coaching in East Sussex
Compassionate, practical support to help you feel lighter and more yourself again.
Grief Doesn’t End, But Neither Do You..
Grief doesn’t just break your heart; it breaks your identity, your rhythm, and sometimes your will to keep going.
Grief is a natural response to loss; there is nothing ‘wrong’ with you, but it doesn’t have to overwhelm your life forever. You can find a way forward with grief coaching and steadily move from surviving to thriving.
My grief coaching offers a calm, supportive space where you can say what you really feel, speak the unspeakable, process what’s been too heavy to carry alone, and start to gently rebuild, with honesty, care, and no pressure to ‘move on’ no matter what your loss.
Grief takes many forms and can follow any life change, from the death of a loved one to major life transitions. My programme offers a safe space to share your story, tools to ease your pain, and a clear path to help you rebuild.
This is not counselling (although I will be offering this in the future), grief coaching focuses on moving forward and taking actionable steps. I work with women who are grieving people, marriages, identities, old versions of themselves, or simply the life they thought they would have. There’s, no one-size-fits-all process here. Just compassionate support, real tools, and, when you’re ready, the option to go deeper with hypnotherapy for emotional release.
What You’re Feeling Is Normal.
– Waves of sadness or numbness
– Brain fog, anxiety, or trouble sleeping
– Guilt, anger, or “I should be over this”
– Going through the motions, but not feeling like yourself
You’re not broken, you’re human, and you’re having a normal and natural reaction to grief. Grief has no timetable. Grief has no handbook. With the right support, it can feel lighter and more manageable
How Grief Coaching Helps

Kind Words
Kelly listened and gave me guidance on how I could find my way through my grief and make some sort of sense of this new stage of my life. I cannot express how much she has helped me, I have gained so much confidence in myself and my abilities to cope with my huge loss.
When I felt ready, we moved on to life coaching to enable me to find a future.
She has built up my self-confidence from nothing to enable me to change my job, she helped me through the job application and the interview and I am now happy in my new role. I couldn’t have done this without her support and belief in me.
I can’t recommend Kelly enough for both grief counselling and life coaching.
I cannot say enough good things about Kelly. Her caring and professional approach to grief coaching and life coaching is why I find myself in a much better place now after the sudden death of my husband, who I cherished, 7 months ago.
I find it so helpful that each session is simply based on where I am that week which for someone deep into grief, that can move and shift dramatically. I’m living a life I didn’t want or ask for, but I do know that with Kelly’s help, it will be a more positive and hopeful future
Kelly was ” the One” after our first initial meeting via WhatsApp video call. She’s calm, understanding, sympathetic, and just a lovely Lady. I have come so far in the grief path, I won’t say process because it’s not, it’s different for everyone, the ” next step” comes where it needs to for each person. To be able to open up with no judgemental comments was a huge thing for me. I thoroughly recommend Kelly for her professionalism, compassion, and listening skills, allowing me to pour out my devastation, and holding my hand virtually.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between grief coaching and therapy?
Grief coaching is forward-focused and practical. It gives you tools to manage the emotional waves, rebuild daily routines, and feel more like yourself again. Therapy often goes deeper into diagnosis or the past. If I feel therapy would be more helpful for you, I’ll always say so kindly and clearly.
How many sessions will I need?
Some people feel lighter after just one session, while others prefer a few months of steady support. Most clients choose a short package (4 sessions to build momentum). We’ll always work at the pace that feels right for you.
Can we work online?
Yes. Online sessions are just as effective as in-person grief coaching. All you need is a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable to talk.
What if my loss was years ago?
Grief has no timetable. It can resurface unexpectedly, even decades later. Organisations like Cruse Bereavement Support also highlight that grief is unique to everyone. Coaching can help whether your loss is recent or many years ago, whenever you feel ready to work through it.
What if i'm not ready to talk?
That’s okay. We don’t have to rush. Sometimes, just sitting together, breathing, or finding small practical steps is the best place to begin. You set the pace.
Ready to Feel Lighter and More Like Yourself Again?
If you’re ready for gentle, practical support for your grief, I’d love to help.
Some clients combine hypnotherapy with grief coaching as grief can affect sleep, energy and confidence. We can combine this if you find it helpful.
